Starting from February 1, the offer will first be available to students in the US. Students in 49 additional countries will be able to avail this offer by March 19. The schedule of the availability of this promotional offer is as follows: In Canada, UK, France, Germany, Spain and 17 other countries from February 21; in Bulgaria, Greece, Indonesia and 8 other countries from March 7 and finally in the last lot of 16 countries from March 19.
Microsoft also took the opportunity to reveal about its Windows Campus Tour organized on February 18. Microsoft revealed in the blog post that they will be visiting over 150 university campuses in the U.S whereby students will be made aware of the advantages of Windows 8 by experts.
