Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Gets Specification Overhaul, Video Released

Samsung next iteration of its Note, the Galaxy Note 10.1, is all but ready and is expected to be launched in August and will be made available globally shortly after that.

Through a video [below], Samsung has detailed the capabilities of the Galaxy Note 10.1. The tablet will be equipped with the powerful Exynos quad core processor, will come with 2GB of RAM, powered by Android Ice Cream Sandwich and will be available in both Wi-Fi and 3G options. Note 10.1 will also come with the S Pen just like its smaller counterpart. More specifications can be found here.

Samsung announced the Galaxy Note 10.1 initially back in February at the Mobile World Congress. The specifications of the tablet during the announcement were not quite impressive. The combination of 1.4 Ghz dual core processor and 1GB of RAM didn’t probably strike the right chord because of which the tablet wasn’t made available during those months.

With a little rework in terms of specifications, Samsung is probably now ready to make this tablet available in the market. The recent save-the-dates send out from Samsung for August 15 is believed to be for the launch of Galaxy Note 10.1.

Related news has it that back in June, Amazon, probably by mistake, briefly offered the Note 10.1 on pre-order for $549.99.
