GameStick bundle consisting of the console and controller is priced at $79.00 while the GameStick’s wireless charging dock/port hub is priced at $24.99 while the console’s protective case is also available and is priced at $9.99.
PlayJam is expected to deliver the pre-ordered consoles once they are done with the shipments to their Kickstarter supporters. The initial supporters of the GameStick are expected to get their consoles sometime in April while those who preordering the device will start receiving their consoles starting April 30.
The console is powered by an Amlogic 8726-MXS processor and is loaded with 1GB of RAM and has 8GB of internal storage expandable to 32GB through a MicroSD card. The console runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. Despite the size, the device is capable of Full 1080p HD video decoding, optional XBMC & DLNA support.
