HTC’s next to be named HTC ‘Aero’ – One A9: Report

Popular leakster @evleaks claims Taiwanese handset maker HTC’s upcoming smartphone will be officially named HTC ‘Aero’ – One A9.

Rumors have it that the HTC One A9 will be the first smartphone in the world to feature a deca-core chipset, the MediaTek Helio X20.

Also tipped to be on the cards is a 1,440 x 2,560 pixel resolution 5.5-inch sized display, 4GB of RAM, and ‘groundbreaking’ rear camera that supports RAW photography. Furthermore, the A9 is said to come with 2.5D curved glass and full metal body.

Recently, an alleged picture of the device was posted online which showed the HTC One A9 kept next to the Apple iPhone 6.

Apart from the Tyrant Gold option seen in the leaked picture, the smartphone is expected to be offered in a Dark Gray color option as well.

According to rumors, the alleged HTC smartphone will be launched by October and made available to the public a month later. In the US, AT&T is believed to be the first carrier to offer the smartphone.
