Samsung has a whopping 18.4-inch tablet in pipeline: Report

New report suggests Samsung currently has a whopping 18.4-inch tablet in pipeline.

According to SamMobile, the Korea-based tech giant is prepping a new Android tablet with an extra-large, 18.4-inch display.

It’s said that Samsung’s new tablet codenamed ‘Tahoe’ will run Android 5.1 Lollipop and pack an octa-core 64-bit (Samsung) Exynos processor running at 1.6GHz. Other rumored features include 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot with support for cards up to 128GB, and a large 5,700 mAh battery.

The device is rumored to feature an 8-megapixel rear camera and 2.1-megapixel front camera as well as 451.8 mm x 275.8 mm x 11.9 mm dimensions. The tablet will also most likely come with an S-pen the same that the popular Samsung Galaxy Note 5 comes with.

As per the report, the rumored device, with model number (SM-T670), will be a mere 6.2mm thick and weigh just 600 grams.

No information on release date window or price range is available for the 18.4-inch ‘Tahoe’ tablet form Samsung as of the moment.

Samsung is yet to comment on the report.
