Amazon India, on Tuesday, started selling computers and related accessories on its newly launched marketplace in the country.

The shopping portal will offer more than 7,000 reasonably-priced electronic products including laptops, pen drives, hard drives, printers, routers and scanners from over 180 brands. The brand names collaborating with Amazon includes Sony, Lenovo, Microsoft, HP, Dell, Samsung, Belkin, Acer, Logitech among others.

The Vice President and Country Manager of Amazon India, Amit Agarwal, has assured to prospective customers of wide collection of new technology gadgets, convenience and reliable on-time delivery of their products. The company looks forward to impress Indian customers with low priced products, broad selection, great convenience and reliable and safe delivery features, said Agarwal.

To make it easier for customers to choose the best product, the e-portal will also provide detailed product descriptions, customer reviews and options to shortlist products by features. The website will give personalized recommendations to the customers.

Adding more, Amazon India will also offer a secure ordering and electronic payment procedure for a safer transaction. Also users can check out the companies’ return policies before picking up something from the web portal. The portal offers free return pickups and free delivery of all items for a limited period of time regardless of the total value of the purchase and also 24 x 7 customer service support is available to help the customers.

Back in June Amazon expanding its online retail portfolio by adding cameras and mobile phones for its Indian marketplace.
