If screenshots of the chat posted on Google+ are to be believed then Google and Asus are all set to release the next Nexus 7 tablet (also known as K009) in Q2 this year and before end of July. The representative also went onto reveal details specification of the tablet.
The representative revealed that K009 will be having a 7-inch display capable of full HD 1920X1080 pixel resolution, will be powered by Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor complemented by 2GB of RAM, will have 32GB of internal storage, 5-megapixel rear camera and 1.2-megapixel front facing one, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and LTE connectivity. The tablet will have a 4,000mAh battery on-board. Surprisingly the tablet will be running Android 4.3 and not Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie.
The latest information corroborates with earlier reports that the new Nexus 7 will be powered by a Snapdragon processor instead of Tegra and that it will be launching in July. Google may price this tablet somewhere near the $230 mark.
