Amazon has urged developers to start submitting their apps as soon as possible even though the roll out will commence over the period of next few months. Developers who have already submitted their apps to the Appstore will see their apps available in all 200 countries unless they explicitly state otherwise.

The e-commerce giant has credited the success of its Appstore to its large customer base and some of the best features like 1-click purchase, GameCircle and the likes. “The success is being driven by Amazon’s large customer base and industry-leading e-commerce features like 1-Click purchasing, Amazon’s APIs for In-App Purchasing (IAP) and A/B Testing, and GameCircle, Amazon’s gaming experience for Kindle Fire”, announced Amazon.

Experts are of the opinion that the new expansion plan is a smart move and would allow the company to roll out Kindle Fire tablets and Kindle to more countries. The unique feature about the Amazon Appstore is that it allows developers to build apps using the Amazon Web Services which has GameCircle services like leaderboards, achievements, friend requests and ‘Whispersync’, which saves a game-state across multiple devices.

“Amazon’s platform is a complete end-to-end solution for developers wanting to build market and monetize their apps and games on Kindle Fire and Android devices,” said Mike George, Vice President of Apps and Games at Amazon.
