The game developer, as a precautionary measure, has disabled all accounts on Harmonix sites and would require users to reset their passwords after the sites are back up and running. In an emailed statement to its users Harmonix has revealed that as of now there have been no reports of user information being published anywhere on the web. The game studio detected the hack this week.

Harmonix has taken the servers offline to investigate the hack and determine as to how hackers managed to compromise the security system. “None of our sites maintain any credit card information, social security numbers, or financial account numbers for any of our users”, read the email.
