Debra Chrapaty Leaves Zynga to Join Nirvanx

She will be replacing Dru Borden, who will remain Nirvanx’s director and planning and development SVP. The cloud storage company Nirvanix offers public, private as well as hybrid cloud services to its customers and has also recently raised around $70 million for improving the services it offers.

Debra Chrapaty has been Zynga’s CIO, the software unit Cisco’s SVP and software giant Microsoft’s Corporate VP. She was also E*Trade Technologies’ COO and President. Dorion Carroll who is at present the chief technology officer at Zynga will replace Debra Chrapaty at Zynga.

David Ko Zynga’s COO in a statement thanked Debra for her excellent leadership and her contributions to the company and wished her luck for the upcoming endeavors in her life. David said, “Today, I am proud to announce that Dorion Carroll is moving into the role of Chief Information Officer effective immediately”, notes GigaOM.

Zynga in recent times has witnessed the departure of many top management executives due to its rocky performance. Last year in August, John Schappert, who was the company’s Chief Operational Officer, resigned from his post. Jeff Karp, Zynga’s Chief marketing officer (CMO), Mike Verdu chief creative officer (CCO), Nils Puhlmann chief security officer (CSO), Allan Leinwand chief technical officer, Wilson Griefel chief revenue officer and David Wehner Company’s Chief Financial Officer also left the Company.
