Samsung Galaxy S4 to Feature New AMOLED Display, Could Boost to Battery Life by 25%

According to SamMobile the new display is 25 per cent more efficient than its predecessor and that because of that the Galaxy S4 will be able to offer a better battery life to its users despite the fact that the screen boasts of a Full HD display.

Earlier we reported about the S4 having eye-tracking capabilities and heard rumours that the handset is going to be launched in two colours and three different storage options – taking the tally to a total of 6 models. Earlier a teaser video for the launch event was also released by Samsung.

Few days back Apple’s CEO Tim Cook criticized the AMOLED technology and the latest report confirms that Samsung may probably be thinking of using new technology in their next flagship device.

Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S4 on 14 March in New York. The S4 is expected to be powered by eight-core Exynos 5 Octa processor along with 2 GB of RAM.  It is also said that the smartphone can be charged wirelessly; will boast of a micro SD card, 13 megapixel camera and a 4.99-inch full HD display.

Following the footsteps of Galaxy S 3, the new Galaxy phone is expected to enjoy huge sales in the first week of its release. The expectations are high and the stage is set, only few days are left and the fans are eagerly waiting for the launch of Galaxy S4.
