14 Million iOS 6 Devices Running Cydia Reveals Pod2g

Jailbreak is something which many if not all the iPhone, iPad and iPod users are familiar with and why not!! Jailbreak gives users of iDevices the freedom to use their device as they like because Apple doesn’t allow modifications to its gadgets by default leaving the consumers no choice but to use them as directed by Apple.

iPhone 5 users were anxiously waiting for the iOS 6 jailbreak to come out and when evad3rs released their evasi0n jailbreak tool in February, Cydia was reported to be running on 23 million devices running iOS 6.X with more than 14 million active monthly users tweeted Pod2g. These figures are impressive and show how much people hate the limitations set by Apple on their iDevices.

For those who are not familiar with Cydia, it is actually an alternate market for iOS apps providing different applications, tweaks and modifications to iPhones, iPad and iPods making it easier for the consumers to use their gadgets the way they like it.

It is to be noted that evasi0n, the jailbreak tool for iOS6 hit 7 million downloads just 4 days after its launch. Apple is reported to be working on an update which will fill many exploits used in evasi0n jailbreak.
