Yesterday the iOS 6 was made available by Apple as a general release to millions of iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad users. iPad users got an alarm clock but, Cupertino has turned into a bad Apple this time around by allegedly copying the design from SBB station clock [see image on the left].

SBB spokesperson told Blick.ch [Google Translated] that they were trying to get in touch with Apple over this may even think of financial and legal actions if needed. The clock was designed by Swiss engineer and designer, Hans Hilfiker, the copyright and trademark rights for which are with SBB at the moment.

SBB is proud that Apple has used the clock as an icon but, angry nonetheless as it was a violation of their trademark. SBB is asserting that they want to work out a common solution that works in the best of interests of both the companies.
