The iOS 6 Beta 4 was released to developers just yesterday and reports are already flowing in about the capabilities of the new iOs. 9to5 Mac has found evidences in the code that iPhone 5 will be boasting a taller display. This is in line with a video that showed more or less the same thing.
Folks at 9to5 Mac tweaked the iOS simulator application and they were able to run a simulation of iOS 6 at 640 x 1136 pixel resolution. Below is the screenshot of the same.
The site has also found evidence in the Beta 4 that Cupertino will be going for a new 9-pin dock connector for the next iPhone. Now this might not go down well with Apple fans as it would make the use of existing speakers, docks, and chargers impossible without the use of an adapter.
Earlier as we reported the through the Beta 4 Apple has knocked off the YouTube app. This is another one of Google’s app that the iPad maker has decided to get rid of. Earlier it has already confirmed that Google Maps are not going to be there anymore on iDevices. The race for 3D maps already started off when Google brought out its own version of 3D maps for iOS before Apple.
The probable launch iPhone 5 is going to happen at an Apple event in San Francisco on Sept. 12. Sharp has already confirmed earlier that it is going to ship (and probably would have started by now) iPhone screens to Apple in August.
